Nathan Ingraham Woodworth was born 31 March 1824 in Cherry Valley Ohio and died 16 March 1900 in Welaka, Florida (per Civil War pension records).
Jerusha Bidwell was born 4 May 1827 in Randolph Ohio and died 9 October 1911 in Welaka, Florida (per Civil War pension records).
Nathan Woodworth and Jerusha Bidwell were married November 9, 1848, in Chester Roads, Geauga County, Ohio.
Three of their children died in infancy or childhood and are buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren, Illinois. These children are: George W. s/o N & JB [Woodworth] d. March 31, 1853, [age] 1 y 4d; Mattie A. [Woodworth] d/o N & JB [Woodworth] d. May 6, 1872 [age] 8 y, 10 mo, 12 d; Neddie [Woodworth] s/o N & JB [Woodworth] d June 9, 1873, [age] 4 y, 7 m, 8 d.
Their surviving children, listed in Civil War pension records are: John C., b. August 27, 1849; Clara Angela, b. October 5, 1856 (married Nathaniel Post 10/20/1880 in Jo Daviess County, IL); and Jennie Elizabeth, b. June 14, 1861 (married William Francis Reed June 14, 1882 in Jo Daviess County, IL).
Nathan was the son of John Woodworth and Chloe Bridgeman.He was a Baptist minister.Jerusha is found in the 1900 census living with her daughter Jennie.Strangely, Nathan is shown as William in the 1880 census.
