Much of what I have read seems to point to your Lyman being the son of Randal Woodworth.
There is going to be a Woodworth reunion in Corning, Steuben Co., NY (Randal is buried in Steuben Co.)
I don't know if you will be able to actually connect your Lyman to Randal, but you might consider attending this reunion.(people are coming from all over the USA and Canada.)
