Re: David Wooliver,1853, NC
I can't get to my emails right now, but I have been in contact with several branches of this family. Alford was married 3 times. Mary Shivers, my gggrandmother was his 3rd wife.
His oldest son was named David, but he was with him in MO in 1840 and 1850 and then he went to the state of WA., and he had a son named Alford M. that was in WA in 1880 and in NV in 1900.
I have not been able to figure out who Alford's first wife was. I think she may have been the daughter of the family that was next to him in 1830. Serpaton BELK was the head of that family, but have not found a record of a marriage or death.
Also I have not been able to figure out who Alford's father was.
He was in TX by 1860 and then he dropped off the face of the earth. I can only locate one daughter in 1870 and then in 1880 I find all the daughters and Mary and her one son, but Alford is gone. Of couse by then he would have been close to 80 years old, but have found no record of his death.
If you would like, I will send you copies of my emails with the other people related to this family, after the virus problem slows down. I received 4 infectived emails tonight. that makes about 15 in the last week and a half.
