WORGANs of Woolaston, Forest of Dean, 1700s
I'm searching for the family of Deborah WORGAN (1711-1777) said to have been from Woolaston, Forest of Dean. Deborah married my ancestor William BROWN, yeoman, of Brislington, Somerset near Bristol, England. I haven't found their marriage but Deborah is buried in St Luke's Churchyard in Brislington.
Deborah and William BROWN had at least five children who lived in the Brislington area for many years.I'd love to discover more about Deborah's own family and also to discover descendants in England or elsewhere.
A Deborah WORGAN was baptised in Newland in 1711 but someone else thinks that she married their ancestor. Can anyone help with this family?
If you'd like further information I've created a Worgan page on my website:
I'll look forward to hearing from some Worgan researchers!
