Re: Bernard Worley from Kansas moved to California

My grgrandfather was Steven Grant Worley, mar: Harriet(Helen/Heet) Surrett. They were born in Buncombe Co, NC then moved to Madison Co, NC where they raised their family. In a Farmers Almanac book that my grgrandfather kept records of his children, and cows , etc , ha ha anyway he had listed a Bernard "Bernie" Worley Bernie (born: abt 1896)was also listed in a census as infant, it looked like he died very young as well as a girl Rosemarie.. This is the only time we have come across the name Bernard, which at times relatives named a child after a brother, or cousin..
