Thanks for your reply, I have John Wride and Hannah Deans marriage as taking place on the 12th Feb 1809 in Mark.
As for where Hannah came from originally there is a Hannah Dean baptised in Wedmore on the 11th Feb 1790 father listed as George Dean, also Betty bap 10th July 1791, George 26th May 1793 parents stated as George and Hannah Dean, also Ann bap 31st Dec, Mary 25th Jan 1798, John 14th July 1800,William 11th March 1804,Mary 27th April 1806 ,Sarah 27th Dec 1809 all children of George and Hannah Dean. I found these entries listed on Michael Tuttons excellent Wedmore genealogy pages,

As for my Chilcott line its from George Chilcott born Mark however there are two George Chilcotts born around the same time, theres a George bapt 22nd March 1810 son of William and Ruth, and a George bapt 15th April 1810 son of Jenny illegitimate son of Mark poor woman, since George gives his age as 37 on the 1851 census it makes the 1813 entry more likely. I have also been unable to find his marriage to Janebut they have two daughters Mary 7 Mirah 5 in 1851, Mary is my line born 20th Jan 1844 , she marries Joseph Harris on June 25th 1864 in Weston-Super-mare, on the certificate she is called Maryann, there is probably a connection to your Chilcotts but as yet until I find out who Georges parents are at a stop. When and where was your Mary Ann Chilcott born?, it would be interesting to find out if there is a connection on two of our lines of the family.
Hope this is of use to you .
