Back in the late 50's early 60's I knew the Wrigley family who moved from Oldham to Finchley in London. I met Richard Wrigley at the Tudor Junior School just off the North Circular Road and then we both went to Finchley County Grammar School. I was great friends with Richard in those days and virtually lived with his family in the school holidays. I don't remember his parents' names but his father was a teacher and had lost a leg I think in the war. He had an older brother Nigel and an older sister Judith. Sometime later a little sister Annette was born. The family lived in Windsor Road in Finchley Central. Later they moved to Crawley in Sussex as a result of his father's new teaching job. I may be wrong but I think Richard went to the USA and is known for opening a micro brewery called Manhattan Brewery in New York City and later the Commonwealth Brewery in Boston. Please let me know if any of the Wrigleys out there know of this branch of the family.
