I thought Sarah was born 1777 not sure without getting to my notes. You can look at my postings that Sarah's surname was Trammel not Trembell - records in Buncombe Co NC have a few mispellings but Trammel and Trammell are the normal versions. Her father was possibly John Trammel or his brother Thomas Trammel whose 2nd? wife was Zilpha said to be part Cherokee. Note John and Sarah also named their youngest daughter Zilpha who married Civil War hero Dick Flynn, the famed Red Fox. One of Zipha's 2 death certificates gives her mother's name as Sarah Trammel and the state questionairre of Prominent Tennesseans gives her father as John Wyatt born March 29, 1772. There is lots more , some posted here on the forum. John and Sarah left NC for Tennessee in 1826 [1804 is not correct - I think they got to the Cumberland County area about 1838 would need to check my info]the other dates given look correct. If the James Riley Wyatt is the same one I am thinking of, I think? he was the grandson of James and Emily holt Wyatt, James was the son of John and Sarah Wyatt. I think they used to say Riley lived on part of John and Sarah's former land. I have a lot more all boxed away in storage.
