Hi Tina,I know this is too late for your paper, but saw your name and wanted to say Hi.First off, there is no PROOF thatMary Poythress, widow of Francis Poythress, surname was Sloman.There is also no proof that her daughter Jane Poythress married Thomas Rolfe.If you look at the Poythress genealogy, the researchers there have not been able to prove that Jane Poythress married Thomas.It makes a good story, but as usual could just be a theory.
Have you seen the results on the Winn/Wynne DNA project?Interesting findings.
