Thanks for your response.The CLOSEST that I have come to a 'source' that William Stone/Elizabeth are the parents of John and Richard is a statement on p. 88 from Allen Cabaniss''Historical Southern Families' that says that..." William Stone (b. 1710), planter, and his wife Elizabeth, dau of John Roberson, migrated from York through Henrico, Goochland, and Cumberland counties to Lunenburg Co. where he died leaving at least three sons, William Jr., John and Richard." The article further references an inventory of William's estate recorded 3/3/1761, Lunenburg, W.B. 2, p. 73 wherein it states that William had at least three children - Richard, William and John and their children are likewise mentioned.

I was hoping for something verifiable about that migration.I especially am interested in finding out more about son Elijah born of John Stone Sr.
