I'll post you another message later on today after work. It's sounds as if the LDS site has some misleading information.I think my information is accurate because I got it from the Schwenkfelder Library. When David Jackel arrived on the St. Andrew's Galley in Philadelphia in 1734, he was part of the religious group the Schwenkfelders. They were punished in various ways for not being Catholic in a Catholic province. The Schwenkfelders, in the mid 1800s, got together information about the first immigrants and their descendants. They pulled together their minister's marriage, birth, and death records. They got together other records and Bible records, then they published their first genealogical book in 1879.Then, in the early part of the 20th century, they did another hunt for information and published a book in 1923.So, I'll get the information on both Christophers so you can see which Christopher is yours.
