Ziegler connection to Boyer
Help!!!I am researching the family of Pauline Boya/Boyer (1849-1905) who married Nelson Wedge in New Orleans. They had the following children:1.Mary Ann Wedge who married Henry Junker;2.Joseph Wedge, who married Phillipine Sax;3.John W. “Hy” Wedge, who married Angeline Robinson.
While researching Pauline, I located her obituary in New Orleans. It stated:“The friends and acquaintances of the family and of the Sax, Boya, Carper Junker, Wise, Torras, Keefe, Husen, and Zieger families.”The Sax, Junker and Boya is explained above, but I need to know the connection of Pauline to the families of Carper, Wise, Torras, Keefe, Huxen and Zieger families. Also who were the parents of Pauline Boya, born April 1949, died 17 Nov 1905???
I have information as follows, but have been unable to connect the information to Pauline Boya/Boyer.
Thomas G. Ziegler married Mary Boya, daughter of Frank Boya and Mary Ann Wise.Frank was born in 1850—possibly a brother to Pauline. Is he the Francois on the 1850 census in New Orleans living in the household of William C. Carper of VA??There is a Pauline Boyer in that same household, but born in 1843, not 1849.Francois (Frank?) was listed as being 3 years old not 1 year old as his death record state.Others listed as Boyer children were Epolilan, male, age 14, Josephine, age 13.Their mother was only listed as Mrs. Boyer, age 39, born in Cuba.
I know that the ages on the census records may or may not be correct, but usually you can find other records that will set the records straight, but I have been unable to locate any other records. So please HELP!!!
