SPRINGFIELD - Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Zink, 94, of Springfield died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at Oak Terrace Healthcare Center.

She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Sarah Goodwin Jones. She married Joseph C. Zink; he died in 1983. A daughter, Nancy McCurley, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Zink retired as a lab technician from Memorial Medical Center in 1986. She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Sangamon County Senior Citizens Center, where she was involved with the RSVP Program.

Survivors: three sons, Stephen J. (wife, Helen) Zink of Springfield, Thomas P. (wife, Melissa) Zink of Madison, Wis., and Paul E. (wife, Sheila) Zink of Nicholasville, Ky.; daughter, Carolyn M. Schuler of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass: noon Wednesday, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Rev. Michael Haag officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.

Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
