Looking for anyone with information on Edward and Hermina Zuehsow who went from Germany to Illinois.
Edward Zuehsow was born 13 Jan 1857 in Lauenburg, Germany,
died 5 Jun 1939 in Chicago, IL. His parents, both born in Lauenburg, Germany,were Edward Zuehsow and Johanna Mueller. He was buried in Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park, IL. (This is according to Edward's death certificate.)
Edward's wife was Hermina Caroline Glienke. She was born 30 Dec 1858 in Boschpal, Germany. She died 29 Jun 1938 in Chicago, IL. Her parents, both born in Boschpol, were Christ Glienke, and mother's name unknown. She is also buried in Concordia Cemetery. (This is according to Hermina's death certificate.)
According to the 1920 Census for Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, they immigrated to the US in 1882. They were Naturalized in 1890. Edward and Hermina married on 21 Jul 1883 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, according to the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index, Vol. #00E, License #00073403. They had three children:
1. Paul Zuehsow, born 15 Apr 1884, died 13 Feb 1898 in Cook Co., Illinois of a burst appendix. (According to death cert.)
2. William Henry Zuehsow, Sr., born 20 Dec 1885 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illlinois, died 21 May 1972 in Oak Park, Cook Co., Illinois. Buried in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Illinois.
He married Bertha Bernadina Otille Amalie Krefft on 17 Jun 1916 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. (Bertha had a daughter, Genevieve, from a previous marriage.)
