Re: Zurfluhs, WI & WA 1903-1930

Hello Sharon, I looked through my Zurfluh files and discovered an old letter from Grace M. Hale who lived in Florida at the time, and she mentions your mother and said she was born in 1930.Is this correct?If she does connect to my family, she is a granddaughter of Anton & Clara Zurfluh, brother & sister-in-law to my grandfather Zurfluh.It appears from the letter that your mother grew up in Tacoma, WA as did my father.I am guessing your mother was a daughter of Edward Zurfluh or his brother, George.My grandfather and his siblings came to America with their parents settling in Aldorf, Wood Co., WI.Most of the grandchildren were born in WI.Keep me posted and we will sort this all out.
