Last Will and Testament of Maribelle Edra Clark Grunwald
In the Name of God, Amen
I Maribelle Edra Clark Grunwald of 424 Allison St NW, Washington DC being sound mind, memory and understanding, and capable of executing a valid deed or contract, considering the certainty of death and the undertainty of the time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldy affairs, and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please the Almighty to call me hence, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament; therby revoking and anulling all wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me, in manner and form folloiwng htat is to say:
FIRST and principally, I commit my soul into the Hand of ALMIGHTY GOD, and my body to be cremated and the ashes placed in a Bronze urn and a child's size vault and buried in Arlington National Cemebery, Arlington VA, Sec 31, Grave 939, beside my belvoed Grunny.My friend, Miss Mildred I. Heavey, of 222 Garfield St., Bridgeport, Conn. knows and understand all my wishes in regard to my Funeral and burial.My wil lis, that all my just debs and funeral expenses shall be paid by my execoutors herinafter anamed as soon after my decease as shall be convenient:
SECOND, I give, devise and bequeath to the State of Wisconsin, my Father's Flag, which he carried, so honorably in the Civil War, to be placed in the State's Archives or other suitable place.
To Beverly Jean Grant of 7145 Eastondale St., Long Beach, Calif, I give a Blue hand painted vase, which belonged to my great Grandmother (Beverly's great great grandmother), which is a prized heriloom in theShea-Donahue Family line.
To, June Arlene Grant of 7145 Eastondale St., Long Beach, Calif. I give two cups, saucers and a place which are hand painted, and was given to me by my Grandma Donanue, who would be June's great grandmother.These are to be treasured as heirlooms.
To Vicotry Bell Rees Boise of 1245 Melvin Way, Eugene Oregon, I give a framed picture of Lillies, that was painted by her Grandmother Mr.s Caroline Saphronia Clark Van Deusen Miller, when she was a student at the Chicago Institue of Art, as a young girl.This is an heirloom.
To Aricene Leigh Baum and her twin sister Dorma Lee Rees Johnson, the former of Rt. 3, Box 313A, Kelso, Washington, and the later of 936 North 34th St., Corvallis, Oregon, I give our Grandfather clock which has been in the Clark Family for almost 200 years.This is an heirloom.
After these few items have been taken care of, I wsh all my effects and belonging, both personal and otherwise, be sold and converted into cash after all expenses for illness, funeral, cremations, bronze urn and vault and bural in Arlington National Cemetery have been paid, I wish the balance to be distributed as follows:
$500.00 to my neise, Mrs. Aricene Rees Baum of Rt 3, Box 313A, Kelso, Wash.
$500.00 to my neice Mr.s Dormalee Rees Johnson of 936 N 34th St., Corvallis, Oregon.
$500.00 to my cousin Ralph J. Donahue of 10918 Sunnyside St., Oakland, Calif.
$500.00 to my cousin Mrs. Everetta Donahue Gable of 7145 Eastondale St., Long Beach, Calif.
$500.00 to my cousin Francis D. Donahue of 7145 Eastondale St., Long Beach, Calif.
$500.00 to my Aunt, Mrs. Emma Donahue Cox of 810 East 4th St., Pomona, Calif.
$500.00 to my cousin, Leo O. Donahue of 345 I Street, San Bernardino, Calif.
$500.00 to my lifelong friend Mrs. Lena Fulwider Cottingim of 702 Koblock St., Stillwater, Okla.

$1000.00 to our nephew, Wililam Clark Grunwalk (minor) of 142 California Ave, Pittsfield, Mass, to be held in trust for him, so that he might have it to further his educaiton when he completes his High School educations.It is my wish that he go to College.
$1000.00 to my friend, Miss Mildred I. Heavy of 130 Ashton St., Bridgeport, Conn.It is my wish that she serve as co-exectator with the Second National Bank of Washington DC in settling my affairs adn attending to my last rites, as she is aware of all my wishes in regard to such.It is my wish further that she be re-imbursed for any and all expenses incurred by her in carrying this wishes out.

The balance to be equally divided and given to the Institutions listed below-
1st- St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Stillwater, Okla to given in memory of my mother, Mrs. Mary E. Clark and my granmother, Mrs. Mary E. Donahue.
2nd- The Lutheran Home for the Aged, 18th & Douglas Sts., Washington DC in memory of H.A. Grunwald and M. E. Grunwald.
3rd- The Catholic Missionary School for Indan Children, at Toparva (sp?), Arizona, U.S.A. in memory of the Clark-Grunwalds.
And lastly, I do hereby nominate, constitue and appoint my friend, Mrs. Mildred I. Heavy of Garfiled St., Bridgeport, Conn, and Mr. Henry Harding, attorney-at-law, Washington DC as executtors of this, my last will and testament and desire that my executors hereinbefore named shall not be required to give bond fo rthe performance of the duties of that office.
