Benjamin Medbury (b. March 31, 1727, d. January 10, 1796)

Note: Benjamin Medbury lived in Smithfield, Rhode Island. He served in the Revolutionary War and was a Lt. in 1st Company Militia of Smithfield 1767-1770. Enlisted in Continental Army from Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Captain Frankiln's company for three years. In 1799 was enrolled on an Abstract of Pay of Continental Army wages due to Captain Joseph Sprague's Company Colonel Brown;s Regiment of Militila, which was called to Providence, Rhode Island by an alarm. Daughters of Revolution approved sevice.
