Thomas and his brothers were raised by their Uncle Frank and his wife Annie after the death of their parents. They lived on Dykeman St. in Brooklyn.
On the 1900 census Thomas is 14 years old and his occupation is listed as Press Feeder.
On the 1910 census Thomas is now 24 and still living with Frank, Annie and their children but now on Wolcott St. Brooklyn.Thomas is now an Ironworker for Robin's Dry Dock.
10/2005At WWIImemorial.com, a World War II Honoree lists Thomas Cain as having served in the U.S. Army Air Forces, his home town as Rockville Centre, NY and is honored by John J. Cain, Brother.Activity during WWII: MechanicP-47 Fighter Group, Killed in France, buried in Belgium. Will check further to see if applies to this Thomas
