There is a Cook Howland who appears on the Tax List dated 1786 in Shrewsbury Township, Monmounth County, New Jersey.It seems likely that he is also a son of George's, but is dead before he made his will so does not appear in it.

Abstract will of George Howland:
1796, April 29.Howland, George, of Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., yeoman; will of.Eldest son, James, 150 acres to the southward adjoining White's great pond, and a salt meadow on Raccoon Island joining on William Green; also lot of goods in his possession and debts due on my part of the store; he to pay 100 pounds.
Son, Michael, home farm; also a salt meadow joining to the heirs of David Hance, dec'd and Daniel West.
Eldest daughter, Hannah Isabel, 5 shillings.
Daughter, Phila Vanderveer, 5 shillings.
Daughter, Susan, 200 pounds but if she dies without issue, same to be divided between grandchildren.
Residue to be divided between son James, and the 3 daughters.
