| We are researching the following family names: For Micah'el's lines we are researching - BEESON (BEASON), BOREN, BIRD (BYRD), EMPSON, FARR (FAIR/PHARR/PHAIR), FLORES, GALLEGO(S), GARLAND, GOFF, MERLISS (MERLIS/MARLIS/MARLES), NEESOM, RIVERA, STRODE (STROUD/STROWDE/de la STRODE, which extends back to circa 1020AD-verified), and TERRELL/TERRILL (which extends back to circa 443BC-verified). The BEESONS are documented back to the 1600s, and we can link Elizabeth BOREN FARR to her mother Phoebe BEESON, and through her mother back to Warin de la STRODE, ca 1020. Samuel's brother-in-law, Albert G. BYRD, is traceable back to Thomas BIRD and also to Cornelius EMPSON. The only line not verified is that of of Samuel FARR, as his parentage has only been suggested. Though the lineage is questionable, the deductions proposed by cousin Frank Farr, are most noteworthy and will probably prove out eventually. We are presently working hardest on the GARLAND/GOFF/TERRELL and GALLEGO(S) conections for Micah'el. Micah is a descendent of "Crypto-Jews", and as a result is researching his Sephardic roots. For Shirley Olinger-Gallegos - AUSTIN, BATES, FORD, HARGIS, HOUSTON, LOGSDON, MORLAN, O'BRYANT, OLINGER and STUTES. The AUSTIN line ends at Hiram Raymond, in Illinois. BATES goes back to George W. (possibly Washington). We have just discovered that the O'BRYANT line goes back to Nancy FORD and Alfred O'BRYANT. The HARGIS line has lead us to Richard HARGIS and Joseph (Big Joe) LOGSDON; while the MORLAN line seems to stop with a John married to Charlotte TAYLOR, daughter of Rhoda. OLINGER is back to the year 1672 with Hans OHLINGER. The HOUSTON line is the real stumper. We have information telling us that Andrew Jackson HOUSTON (not to be confused with General Sam HOUSTON's son) was the grandson of Major Samuel HOUSTON, father to General Sam HOUSTON. The most recent searches have been for the O'BRYANTs, HOUSTONs and LOGSDONs. We owe much of the information on some of our lines to those cousins - close and far - who have worked so diligently on these lines. I cannot take credit for their work. It would be greatly appreciated. We are also willing to share any and all information we have. Our goal is to publish on this site all the lines that are related to Micah'el and Shirley, regardless of proximity. For that reason, any lines that go back and connect are gratefully accepted.
