I know this family!
John Nelson Conklin was a son of William Conklin and Charity Felter, brother to my ancestor William Henry Conklin. He married Harriet E. Barton (she was the widow of Alfred W. Wright and Sarah Martha is their child). Flora, Bertha and Emma Jane are children of John Nelson and Harriet.
Mary Elizabeth Adams was Mary Elizabeth Mann, daughter of Thomas Ahijah Mann and Margaret Matilda Predmore. Her first husband was Peter S. Card. Mary Elizabeth's sister Cornelia Priscilla Mann was my ancestor (she married William Henry Conklin). Her grandmother Mary Conklin was a half-sister of William Henry's father William Conklin. Emily Frances Mann Hoffman is another sister of Cornelia and Mary Elizabeth.
Mary Conklin was a daughter of Thomas Conklin and Hannah Babcock, William Conklin was a son of Thomas Conklin and 2nd wife, Charity Babcock. So William Henry Conklin and Cornelia Priscilla Mann were 1st cousins once removed and probably also related through Hannah and Charity Babcock as it's probable they were sisters.
Thomas Conklin's father was Joseph Conklin and mother was Techy - no maiden name for her yet.
These families lived in Northern NJ, mainly Morris and Sussex Counties.
