There is an Isaac Eaton born c. 1846, son of John, grandson of Rev. George Eaton, who married Phoebe Hall in 1768 in Rowan, NC and who died in NC c. 1815. His descendants went to KY and TN. He certainly would have been of age during revolution.
As for the Rev. George, (Rev) George EATON was son of John/Joan of Radnorshire and was born in Aug 1686 Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary DAVIS circa 1710 in Pennsylvania and died on 1 Jul 1764 in Lower Dublin, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, at age 77. He is buried in Pass Penny Pack Church. He owned land in Lower Dublin Township and was one of the founders of the Baptist Church. He inherited property from his uncle George in 1704.
His brother, Joseph, was the baptist minister from Montogomey, PA who helped build the Baptist congregation with his son Isaac in Hopewell, New Jersey. (This Isaac is subject of biography on our Eaton web site for more complete information.)
