"James Blackburn Boatright, 81 years old, father of William Boatright,
former Attorney General of Colorado, died here Thursday.Boatright
had lived in Colorado Springs thirty-three years.He was a native
of Kentucky, moved to Missouri, and then came to Colorado in 1887.
Funeral services will be held Monday in Darlington, Missouri."

In 1928, Lizzie Frank wrote me and said that she had been teaching Sunday School for a class of young women in Danville for almost 28 years.She said one of her first recollections was that of listening to Uncle John playing the violin (re: John Waller Boatwright, father of RGB).
She said that soon after the death of her mother, she and her sister, Mattie, were sent to a boarding school while they were still quite young.They remained there until graduation.She said that because of this separation, she knew very little about her mother's family.
