After their marriage, Sallie and George lived on a farm in Anderson County, Kansas until about 1894.They moved to Vernon County, Missouri where they lived until about 1908 when they traded the farm for one near Lela, Pawnee County, Oklahoma.In 1918, they sold this farm and moved to Salem, Oregon.Olmsted was a farmer most of his life.

Lizzie attended Cooper College at Moundville, Missouri and taught school a term or two before her marriage.She and her husband lived on a farm near Vera, Oklahoma at the time of her death.

"Mrs. Lizzie E. Profitt (nee Boatright) was born in Madison County, Kentucky, Nov. 16, 1876.She came west with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Boatright when about 8 years of age..She grew to womanhood in Vernon County (Missouri, dgb).After finishing her grammer [sic] school education, she attended Cooper College at Moundville, Mo., two years then attended the teachers Normal at Nevada.From there she was granted a teacher's certificate.She taught two terms of school in Vernon County.She joined the M. E. Church of Moundville while attending college there and lived a devoted Christian life, departed perfectly happy in the faith of Jesus Christ.

" She and Ernest H. Profitt united in Holy matrimony April 23, 1902.She and her husband have lived near Vera, I.T., for about 4 years.By her loving disposition, she made made many dear friends.She departed this life April 12, 1907.
"She leaves a husband, little son, Clarence, mother, father, two sisters and five brothers to mourn her loss.The funeral services were held at the Friends Church of Romana, conducted by the pastor Bro. Griffith.The remains were laid to rest in Romana Cemetery by the side of her little daughter, Hazel.
"The golden gate was open wide, the gentle voice said, come the angels from the other side, welcomed our dear Lizzie Home."

John Waller Boatright, Jr.was reared on the farm.After common school, he attended one year at Cooper College at Moundville, Missouri.He worked several years as grocery clerk at Garland, Kansas.Later, he married his employer's niece, Clara.About 1909, he studied telegraphy and was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad.He later worked for the Frisco Railroad as a telegraph operator and Station Agent until his retirement shortly before his death in 1950.
