Born in Arkansas City, Kansas December 29, 1935,Dennis moved with his parents toPasadena, TX in 1938 when father, Glenn was transferred to the Shell Refinery in Deer Park, TX (Houston).He attended Pasadena High School where he graduated #1 in class in 1954.and attended Rice University 1954-1957.He graduated from theUniversity of Texas in 1959 with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and was employed as a Process Control Engineer at TEXAS-US Chemical Co. in Port Neches, TX in 1959.He worked there until 1968 when he went to work for IBM Corp in Beaumont, TX.Their only son, David, was born in Beaumont, TX in May 1963.
