|This site provides information on desendants of James O'Bradley born in 1700 in Inishowen, County Donegal, Ireland.|
The Bradley sept originated in the counties adjacent to County Derry having the origional gaelic name O'Brollachain. However as a result of the introduction of the English language into Ireland the name changed through O'Brallaghan and O'Bradley to become anglicized into the common English name of Bradley.
Counties Derry, Tyrone and Donegal in the north of Ireland are still the homeland of most Irish Bradleys, with Cork being their main stronghold in the south of the country.
This site is dedicated to
Noel, Bill and Danny Bradley, who through their dedication and endless work have not only brought together far flung branches of the family but have produced the history of the Bradley's, without which this internet site would not be possible.
