Wife fined 5 shillings for not attending church and keeping children out of worship in 1667.
Chosen as party of four to survey highway between New London and the head of the Nihantic River in 1669.
Arrested for assault and resistance to authority in 1671 as a party of citizens of New London who attempted to drive Mathew Griswald and William Waller, both of Lyme, off their land as part of dispute over land claimed by both New London and Lyme.

Wrote to sister Anne Leigh 11/2/1657 thanking her for her offer to take daughter Sarah to raise. |
