Craven Co. Deed Bk 16, pg 194, James Fulcher and Isabell sell to Cason Brinson, land N/S Neuse R. w/s Beard's Ck., being land Thomas Fulcher bought of David West.
1767 JAMES RECEIVED A PATENT FOR 200 ACRES IN CRAVEN CO, on the N side of Neuse River including the place where he now lives. Beginning at a forked white oak in the fork of the E. Branch of Duck Creek in the back line of William Carraway's land...Surveyed by Christopher Neal.
