Benjamin Robert DAVID, b. 15 Jan 1827, SC(per censuses). He was the son of Benjamin DAVID, Jr. and Amelia CARLOSS of Marlboro Co, SC.Married abt 1847-1850 to Louisiana Jennings COLE, prob. in either Fayette or Washington County, TX. B.R. and Lou DAVID lived mostly in Bee County TX where he died on 20 Jul 1895. Lou COLE DAVID died on 14 Jun 1922 in Beeville, Bee Co, TX. She was the dau of William COLE and Sarah BROWN. Family legend says he started coming into TX in the 1840s to capture mustangs which he then sold to the army. He had a sister named Olivia C. who m. a brickmason named Tullius Cicero(T.C.)DIXON(or DICKSON). They were living in Harrison Co MS in 1880 and Austin TX in 1900 and moved to Los Angeles CA where she died in 1917. Another sister was Omelia (or Amelia) DAVID who m. William S. Thompson in Jasper Co, MS abt 1847.
