b. ca. 1682; d. 1743. He was married to Hannah -----. Richard was unable to act as executor of his father's estate. On 16 May 1743 he said in a codicil to his father's probate packet: "I Richard Clark being very sick for a long time, and still, weak, desire my brothers to act without me." His own will was written four days later on 20 May 1743, and proved 5 Nov 1743, only a short time after his own father died. He named his wife Hannah and son James as executors. He described himself as a yeoman. The children were named: Richard, Elisha, James, Ruben, Samuel, Thomas, Rachel, Jemima, and Abigail, under age. In addition he mentioned a deceased daughter, Hannah Mills, and her son, John Mills. The children are listed separately later with more information. See below for more.
