According to Southwestern Ohio Land Book Enoch Sutton acquired land as follows:
Survey C, Range 11 Twp 01; section 15 onDecember 7, 1811. He lived in Hamilton.
Recieved a Land Warrant from the United States of America dated October 25, 1813 for land in Staunton Twp, Miami County, Ohio. There were several other transactions over a period of time.
Enoch's estate was probated on October 30, 1838, Miami case #0921, Recorded in Book B, Pg 424.
His will names his wife, Elizabeth. It names John C. Winans as guardian for his son, Daniel Sutton.
It names his daughter, Mary Ann Brooks,wife of Freeman Brooks, and finally Elizabeth Clark and her
son, Enoch Clark.
Lived to be 72 years, 1 month, 12 days.
