A boarder in Dalry in 1861(?). She married Thomas Davidson on the 31st December 1862 at ?, Auchinlech, Ayrshire. The banns were of the Roman Catholic Church. At the time of the 1871 census she was living at 25 Castle St, Paisley with her husband, son (Alexander 7) and daughter (Elizabeth 2).At the time of the 1881 census she was living in Dublin St, Lesmahagow with her husband, 3 sons (Alexander 17, Thomas 6 and John 1) and 3 daughters (Elizabeth 12, Ann 9 and Sarah 4). At the time of the 1891 census she was living at 2 Longlea Terrace, Auchinheath, Lesmahagow with her husband, 4 sons (Alexander 27, Thomas 16, John 11 and Hugh 8) and daughter (Sarah 13).She was widowed in 1897. At the time of the 1901 census she was living at 3 Greenbraes, Auchenheath, Lesmahagow with 3 sons (Alexander 36, John 21 and Hugh 17) and a daughter (Sarah 23). All her children living with her at this time were unmarried.She died at 1.30pm on the 15th November 1924 at St Jospeh’s Home, Garngadhill, Glasgow aged 81. Her usual residence at this time was Southfield by Kirkmuirhill, Lesmahagow. The cause of death was senility. She was illiterate.
