May 3, 1780,- Deed - Elizabeth Oakey, widow of Thomas Oakey, late of Sussex County, deceased, from Hugh and William Stevenson, sons of John Stevenson.John Stevenson had originally sold to Thomas Oakey who died before deed wasrecorded, 106 acres for 27 pounds.Wit: Rhoad Shankland, Robert Mariner.(Sussex Deed Book M-12, p326)

Elizabeth Stockley, daughter of Oliver Stockley and Margaret Prettyman was bornJanuary 24, 1736, and baptized at St. Georges (Episcopal) Church, Sussex County, Delaware.
This does not agree with the above baptismal record.(Died at the age of 103 and was buried in the Okey Cemetery at Woodsfield, Ohio.The tombstone was in a fair state of preservation, summer of 1926.)
