Jacob Jr., owned a large tract of land in the area of Gold Hill,, NC, and when gold was found there, he sold his land to a mining company and moved to Iredell Co and bought land near Amity Hill, NC.There he farmed and death was brought on by over heat while working in a wheat field.He died 7-29-1859 and has a readable marked at Bethesada Presbyterian Church in Amity Hill, NC.After his death Annie Mary sold their property and moved back to Gold Hill, NC with her family.Annie Mary D: 6-15-1892 and is buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Misenheimer NC close to her son Stokes.She has a readable marker there.
