This contains information on all my known relatives.
On my father Alfred Kilbourne's paternal side, it traces from Stephen Hopkins of Hampshire, England, who came to this country on the Mayflower in 1620; from Nathaniel Boyd, whose family was originally from Scotland, then moved to County Down, Ireland, and from there to New York in 1754/55 and from John Dixon of Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, a British officer in the Revolution who married an American and remained in New York.
On his maternal side, it traces from Amos Barnes of England, born about 1826.
On my mother Elsa Breithut's maternal side, it traces the Ohaus lineage, beginning with Hans Ohaus, born in Germany in 1517, and on her paternal side, the Breithut lineage beginning with Christian Breithut, born in Germany in 1843.
