DEATH OF BOY 8
AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Chronic lymphatic leukemia caused the death at 6 o'clock this morning at Memorial Hospital of Richard Fatula, eight year old son of John and Mary Figula Fatula of 303 Wall St, Lower Yoder Township. The boy had been a patient at the hospital since October 2. The disease of which he suffered is characterized by enlargement of the lymphatic glands, causing an excess of lympcytes in the blood. It is not considered a rare disease, though few cases are treated locally.
In addition to his parents, the Fatula boy, a student at St Stephen's Parochial School until forced to leave by ill health, is survived by three brothers and one sister, Albert, James,Eugene and Elaine.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at St Stephen's Catholic Church, with mass by Rev. FatherJohn Martvon,rector. Interment will be in the church cemetery, directed by Frank J. Pentrack & Son, morticians.
