Notes for Joseph Fellows:
Joseph is not mentioned in the will of his father, since he had already received his full portion of his share of his father's estate. Town records show that he held many minor town offices of his day, and he was called on to appraise livestock and other belongings of neighbors. He may have lived on the land he bought from his father in Canaan, CT on side of which was bounded by "land of Ephm Fellows". Joseph and his son Joseph, Jr sold two peices of land "lying across the road from each other" on May 4, 1804, to Moses Collar for $1500.
Joseph was a Freeman of Canaan, CT June 23, 1757. He moved his family to Kingsbury,New York sometime after 1777.

Notes for Abiel Fellows:
Abiel was a money collector, carrier of goods in Rev War. He was later a hotel keeper, tailor, and farmer. He was town clerk for many years, and recorded the births, deaths, marriages of not only his own family, but other Fellows' families too.
The 1800 Connecticut t Census lists an Abiel Fellows living in Litchfield County, CT (Roll no 2, page no 46).
He was buried in North Canaan Lower Cemetery, Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT.
Note; George Marshall Fellows had no third wife for this Abiel Fellows. He had Sarah Howe listed as the third wife of the Abiel Fellows born Oct 1, 1764. Jerry Fellows has Sarah Howe as the wife of Abiel Fellows born Oct 29, 1734, shown here, but has no children from that marriage. I have movedthe children under this Sarah Howe to Abiel b; 1764 with/ wife Dorcus Hopkins as shown by Jerry Fellows.
