I amresearching the family of William R. Fizette and Frances Hamilton.William was born around 1825 in Canada and Frances was born about 1819 in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.William was a sailor. By 1855, they had three children born in Niagara County, New York.They are Elizabeth C. born in 1849, William R. Jr. born in 1852 and Frances R. born in 1853.Frances Fizette in believed to have married a William Shafer.I have no information on who Elizabeth may have married.Frances Hamilton's parents were William and Rebecca Hamilton.I believe they came to this area around 1840 to early 1850's.I am researching the family of Charles G. Mahnke and Elizabeth Sewar.According to the census records, Charles entered the United States in 1870 and Elizabeth came in 1872.Using Orleans County census records, I have been able to place them in that county in 1892.Elizabeth is the daughter of Charles and Louise Sewar.I am also looking for information of their children Harold born in 1895, Matilda in 1875 or 1876, Louisa in 1880, Edith in 1892, Ida in 1899, John in 1884, Edward, Frederick, and William in 1878.I am researching the family of Thomas Richards and Louisa Brown.Not sure how Brown was spelled.They lived in the Black Rock section of Buffalo, Erie County, New York.In 1900, it is believed that Thomas drowned.The living children were placed in the Buffalo Orphan Asylum.These included Louise born in 1888, Grace in 1890, William in 1891,Tillie in 1893, Thomas in 1895 and Oscar in 1897, and Freddie in 1899 and an unknown child.Thomas came to the United States in 1881. I am looking for the family of Freeman Shaff and Evaline Amelia Roe.They were located in the area near Shinglehouse , Tioga County, Pennsylvania.Freeman was born in 1852 and Evaline was born in 1853.They had 11 children between 1875 and 1895.I am trying to locate their parents.Any one with information of any of the above may contact me.Any information that I have at the present time, I am more than willing to share.I | |
