Nathan Fortner I think was the father of Nicey Fortner, my GGgrandmother. I was told she is a full blooded Indian. Cherokee and her mother Margaret Robertson or Robison was Choctaw. Nathan was in St claire, Al. in 1830s. I have no proof of anything yet, tho a relative found Nathan in St. Claire. Nicey married my GGgrandfather, Sept. 16th 1830. I would like to find Nathans' wife and be sure of her name. Her sister was married there in 1829. Nicey was born in 1810aaand sister born 1811. Her names was Elizabeth. I will let you take it from there.
