Source: "Records of Saline County Missouri" from THE MARSHALL CHAPTER D.A.R., Jan. 1960, "Thomas Winslow was married to Anne Pley Parker not later than September 10, 1698, earliest known record proving they were married. Anne Parker Pley was the daughter of Elizabeth Parker Pley and the aunt of Ann Watkins of Essex County. Thomas Winslow, if we are to judge by the deeds in which he participated in exchange for various properties, appraising of various estates, witness to many transactions, between 1698 and his death in 1725, was evidently a citizen of unusual standing in his community."
