George Fowler born about 1834 in Cappagh, Omagh, Tyrone, Ireland and died on the 10 August 1895, at Sydney hospitl. George is buried at the Bight Cemetery via Wingham and is on a headstone with other members of the Kennedy Family. He married Catherine Kennedy on the 22 November 1877 at "Catabuc", Mortans Creek via Wauchope according to the rights of the Presbyterian Church - John Davis officiating, (Port Macquarie Reg. No 545/1877). Catherine died on the 05 April 1924, at Comboyne, NSW (Wingham Reg. No 10090/1924). George immigrated to Australia on the "Hornet"arriving in Sydney on the 03 March 1859. It is understood that George and Catherine adopted a child May Flynn.
