According to the Genea. Her Great-grandfather John Sweet who died in 1637. His son James built a cottage on the New London Turnpike near North Kingstown.This house was purchased in 1731 by William Congdon the Son of Benjamin Congdon I and remained in his decscendents hands until the early 1900's.In 1924 it was bought by Henry Ford and moved to Sudbury, Mass. for erection in the Colonial Museum village there.This cottage is known as the Congdon House.
