Arrived in Philadelphia August 27, 1733 on the ship "Elizabeth", came from Karlsruhe, Germany.The "Elizabeth" sailed from Rotterdam, via Dover, Captain was Edward Lee.There were 190 passangers, mostly Palatines.Fifty eight Palatines, their wives and children totaling 172 plus crewmen and Captain Edward lee sailed from Rotterdam, via Dover aboard the ship "Eliza" of London, and arrived in America at Philadephia, Pennsylvania in August 1733.All of the Palatines including Jean Jacques Bonnett were recleared and requalified at the courthouse before the Honourable Lt. Gpvernor and several of the Magistrates on August 27, 1733.
Jacques was accompanied by his brother Jean Pierre to America.Jean Jacques is sometimes referred to as John.the Englaish translation of Jean Jacques is John James.
