Johan Georg was purchased by Reinhard Lawbauch of Lower Saucon Township in Northampton county. He was just 16 years old. His passage was paid with 28 pounds and 7 shillings. The terms of his indenture was 5 years and 6 months. He was 211/2 years old when his term of servitude was completed at the end of March, 1779. He continued to live in Northampton County and served in a county militia during the last stages of the War for Independence. He and his wife had a son named John Repscher. His last name is spelled "Robscher" in the records of indentured servants. This account is from the book "Repsher Origins" by Donald Repsher.
