Ludwig Kalman HAYDE (b. 01 Nov 1901, d. 05 Nov 1971)
Notes for Ludwig Kalman HAYDE:
Because they were Germans, he and his wife escaped in early 1945 due to the advancing Russian front from Kezmarok (Slovakia) and joined up with their son LADISLAUS KARL HAYDE in Rossatz, Austria. Together they continued towards the west. In Niederalteich they met the advancing American army.
Later he and his family moved to Bogen/Donau where he was able to find work as a Candle maker. In approx.1951 he and his wife moved to Landsberg/Lech were he continued to work as a Candle maker until his retirement.
Their sonjoined the Police force (Bayerische Bereitschaftspolizei) in 1951 and moved to Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
