In her Miller application Annie states "I do not know anything about my mother's people, she was Katie Vann.I was raised by Susan E Parris, my aunt on my father's side."
Annie's Miller application was rejected because her fathers side of the family were Old Settlers and she didn't know her mothers side.It happens that her mother, Katy Vann, was enrolled by Drennen in Saline District, family# 280, and this information would have allowed Katie's application to be accepted.
