"We regret that we have to recall part of our last on the subject of the murder of Alex Foreman, White Path and another Indian said to be of the National Council from Illinois district. This information coming from Judge John T. Adair every one considered to be correct, but Starr Bean has just returned from Evansville and it is generally understood that nothing had befallen those persons and that the same was got up for a bad purpose."
