The family group for Adair 1-1-3 all have a surname of BELL
Other sources indicate that this Stephen Ray should be John Bell.
The "History of the Adair Family" states that there were ten children of this marriage but
only goes on to list nine.One of the nine, Ruth, does not appear in Starr's listing, and
Starr has two that aren't in the Adair History, Martha and Charlotte. Ruth and Martha are
both listed in the 1906 application of their sister, Charlotte Dupree nee Bell.Charlotte
also states in her application that her mother died c1838 in the "Old Nation".
