My sister and I are researching our Paternal WILLMOT family line. Surnames from New Jersey in our family include, but are not limited to: AUSTIN, BURGHER, CLARENDON, DARE, PIERSON, RICHER, WILSON and WILLMOT. Also BRYANT from Sheldrake, NY, and MARCH and HOOPES, from either PA, NJ or NY.
Our maternal line includes BOGERT, BRENNAN, CHAMBERS, FITZPATRICK, HUGHES, PARKER and WILSON. This research right now is on Staten Island and is expected to lead back to Dutch and Irish ancestry.
My husbands maternal line is from Monmouth County, New Jersey and includes KEELER, MAUSER, MISKIEWICZ and WEGLARZ.
His paternal line includes COTTRELL, COMBS, HICKEY, LUPCHO, NIVISON and VAN PELT.
I have also added various side lines provided by our relatives, such as CONOVER [over 100 names], and VAN VALEN [over 500 names]. Please note, there is some discussion as to relationships of some of the CONOVER names so they are subject to change as more information is provided.
