Welcome to Henny's Genealogy and Memory PagesUpdated January 20, 2012
|This is the family tree of the Wassing's and the Mulder's. There is more to come but I have not had the time to do any more research. I have cousins on both the Wassing and the Mulder's side that I have not been able to get in touch with. If you happen to read this and can help me please write to me via my email.|
My oldest sister Trijn and two brothers John and Mans, will have their 50th wedding anniversary on the 4th of May, 2001. God has been good to them.
My first husband, Sipke Crans, the father of my two children, died Aug. 13/1978
The Hoekstra Family is not complete yet either. A lot of the names went missing when my computer crashed and I got some of it back from a cousin of Ted's.
My husband Ted died on May 24th 2001 his sister Martha died Januari 23th 2001. Mother Hoekstra died Sept. 22, 2001
Michael Hoekstra will take over the genealogy of this family, he is the son of Joe and Susie Hoekstra, living in Chatham
My sister, Trijn, passed away April 27th, 2009, brother Dirk passed away December 17th, 2009and brother John died August 9th, 2010. Brother Mans passed away November 25, 2011
This year 2011 we will have a grand Wassing Family Reunion. The family will have been in Canada for 6o years and we thought it needs to be celebrated. We are working on several ideas for this occasion one of them being a Memorial Golf Tournement in memory of those that passed away since our last reunion, this is of course only for those who want to participate. We are working on other things to do for those who do not golf.
There will be an entree fee for the reunion and all proceeds will be donated to the "Make a wish foundation" for kids.
Of the 3 brothers and sister that married on the same day only Mans is still living and will celebrate his 60th anniversary of his wedding day this year. Brother Arnold has been 60 years married for a couple of years, that day went by very quietly.
We have much to thank God for.
If anybody has more information about these family's would you please send me word by email. It would be very much appreciated.
